Hello friends,
Today I wanted to share a video from my archives. This quick (3 minute!) spontaneous take reveals one of the most predictable ways that I know my clients are getting better and recovering their health. Sometimes it’s hard to track progress. Here’s one telltale sign that pops up often in my practice.
Take a look here.
As we begin the ascent towards the rising energy of spring, this is a great time of year to engage with your wellness.
Are you interested in acupuncture? Wondering if I can help you heal?
I specialize in working with women, who feel overwhelmed by ongoing health issues, who want to feel safe and seen. I work with many people with anxiety, digestive disorders, autoimmune conditions, or who are struggling with symptoms that might come and go, but just don’t seem to go away.
If you’re a current client and think that I might be of benefit to someone in your life, you can share the quick-start “start here” page of my site with someone you care about.
Or consider forwarding this newsletter to a friend so that they can opt-in. Signing up for the newsletter is a great low-key first step to feel out if I might be a good fit for what you’re wanting.
When the timing feels right, you can reach out directly or schedule a free phone consultation through my website.
Another easy way to get to feel out my vibe, or to get some help in a more communal setting is to attend one of my yoga classes.
I’m offering an at-home (virtual) restorative yoga class this Sunday (2/23) from 7-8:15pm EST. Restorative yoga rebalances the nervous system and teaches you how to access your parasympathetic (“rest and digest”) nervous system.
Restorative yoga helps you retrain your body so that you can access more presence and ease. This is a practice I’ve fallen in love with, and which you don’t need any previous yoga experience to benefit from.
You also don’t fancy props, including a yoga mat! We will be using blankets and bed pillows to create a yoga “nest” to rest within.
I will also guide you through breathing practices and meditations as well as some gentle movement to help you release unnecessary habitual tension so that you can connect with yourself and with others.
Can’t make it this Sunday? I also have a session on Sunday March 9th.
Both opportunities are live on my website for registration.
You can register as an individual (just you) or as a household (family members, partners, or housemates can practice alongside you). Pets and plants are always welcome to attend!
If you have questions about this practice, or if you’re wondering about acupuncture, please reach out!
May this spring arrive softly in your spirit and may you be moved towards self-compassion this season.
Monica
